3 ways to wear/style your Little Black Dress (LBD)

By: Em Trava

Every girl must have a little black dress (LBD) in her closet. This is very useful for days when you have no idea what to wear. An LBD is a staple piece because it is very versatile -- you can either dress it up or down and wear it during casual days or even to formal events. Well, you know what they say. When in doubt, wear black! :)

To start off, this LBD from inlovewithfashion.com is appropriate for spring. Yes, you are not limited to pastel colors during spring so it's fine to wear black as long as the fabric is lightweight. I suggest you wear it as it is and add a couple of jewelry if you wish. Better yet, keep it simple since black is already heavy to look at.

So how do you wear/style your LBD?

1) Add a colorful flowy cover-up like a kimono to keep your outfit summery. The bright colors balance the heaviness of the black and makes it light enough for summer. Top it off with mustard wedges and you're done!

2) For fall, wear a knit sweater over your dress. Not only will it warm you but you'll also stay comfy. The flat ankle booties will maintain that comfy factor too.

3) If the winter season in your country is not that cold, this is perfect for you. Bundle up with a plaid hoodie and keep your feet warm with classic lace-up boots and you're good to go!
